Don’t Leave Your 401(k) Behind
For many investors, a 401(k) represents one of their largest and most important assets. Yet it’s often managed separately from the rest of their financial plan, creating potential gaps in strategy, risk exposure, and long-term outcomes.
We explore whether it makes sense to bring your 401(k) under the guidance of your financial advisor-looking at the potential benefits of coordination, personalized allocation, and holistic planning, as well as a few considerations to keep in mind.
If you're wondering whether your retirement accounts are working as efficiently as they could be, this is a conversation worth having. Your 401(k) is often one of your largest assets; why manage it in isolation? CLICK HERE

Preserve What Matters Most
Estate planning is more than just preparing documents-it’s about protecting what you’ve built and ensuring your wishes are carried out. Without proper planning, assets may not transfer as intended, potentially creating unnecessary stress, costs, and delays for your loved ones.
Estate planning is most effective when it works hand in hand with your legal, financial, and retirement plans. A coordinated strategy helps ensure your wishes are clear today and flexible enough to evolve as your life and goals change.

Many clients choose eDelivery to reduce paper and stay organized, but there are some cases where paper communications may still be sent. This is expected behavior and does not indicate an issue with their eDelivery settings.
Even when a client is enrolled in eDelivery:
- Certain issuers (such as mutual fund companies or investment firms) may still require paper delivery of shareholder notices
- This decision is made by the issuer, not by Stifel or the client’s
delivery preferences
- Clients may occasionally receive mailings even if they’ve opted into paperless delivery
Even with occasional mailed notices, eDelivery remains a valuable tool:
- Provides faster access to statements and documents
- Keeps financial information organized in one place
- Reduces paper clutter and improves accessibility
Familiarize yourself with the Document Center features and your eDelivery preferences using these steps.
